Jenny Mcclure, guide and directress, created Mini Montessori of Houston in 2020. After several years of guiding classes of approximately 30 students, Jenny realized that many children would benefit from a smaller community. Jenny combines her training in Art Therapy, experience working with Neurodiverse children (Autism, ADHD, Selective Mutism, Speech & language delay, Dyslexia, Oppositional defiant disorder, childhood trauma), and Montessori (AMI certified, ages 3-6) to create an intimate and inclusive learning environment for children with diverse needs and abilities. She holds a Masters of Education degree, with a specialization in Montessori from Loyola University, Maryland. Jenny is also a mom to two Montessori children, Jack and Quinn. She is passionate about Montessori, design, photography, sign language, swimming, and making homemade jam and ice cream. Creating Mini Montessori of Houston has been one of Jenny’s greatest joys, and she would love to share it with you and your child.
